Aims and Objectives of the Association
Leadership & Management
- To promote and enhance educational leadership and effective school management.
- To recognize and promote the role of principal in the school and the community.
- To facilitate communication among education leaders.
Professional Development
- To provide opportunities for professional development of school principals and school leaders.
- To promote professional interests of members.
- To plan and organize administration and other lawful activities.
Ethics & Integrity
- To promote ethical stands and integrity in school leadership and management.
- To encourage settlement of disputes between different members, or members and other organizations through positive dialogue.
Resources & Membership
- To acquire funds by affiliation fee or by any other legal means to further these Aims and Objectives.
- To use legitimate means to induce principals to join the Association.
Partnerships & Collaboration
- To promote liaison and cooperation with other unions in the education and other sectors.
- To promote liaison with organizations involved in sports and other youth activities.
- To establish links with International Associations of School Principals.
Advocacy & Representation
- To represent the Association in all forums in the Ministry responsible for Education.
- To comment on, advance or oppose any law, action or policy of any authority or institution affecting the interests of members in particular, or education in general
